Military Base

A military base is a facility owned and operated by the military or one of its branches that shelters military equipment and personnel, and facilitates training and operations. A military base provides accommodations for one or more units, and can also be used as a command center, a training ground, or a proving ground. Military facilities require the highest level of security to ensure the protection of information, military assets and strict control of sites allowing only authorized level access, and the ability to authenticate through video surveillance to protect access to the network infrastructure, armories and other very sensitive and restrictive sites. Incorporating IP video and IP access control technology allows for an event-based centralized security management system that will control access and entry authentication to create a safe and secure environment for military personnel and its assets.

Military security program incorporates the following:

  • IP Video Surveillance
  • IP Access Control
  • IP License Plate Recognition (LPR)
  • E-security Technologies
  • High Security Key System
  • One Card Credential with Photo Badging Technology
  • Multi-Housing Locking Solutions
  • Gate Systems

A seamless integration of the above security applications will assist in the development of an overall security program.

IP video surveillance and IP access control with integrated alarm management are the emerging applications offering instant conductivity linking all sites to a central management capability and allowing individual control at each site. The integration of IP-based systems with the newest e-security hardware allows point-to-point access control over the network with security devices and POE (power over ethernet). A centralized security system creates an easily managed and cost-effective solution.
